UPDATED JULY 13: Please note: Capacity is limited to 12 people per bike. Our regular capacity will return at a later date — we don’t know when and are just asking people who are booking down the road to plan for 12 people as your max. (We would rather UNDER PROMISE and OVER DELIVER and believe an honest answer goes farther than telling people what they want to hear just to get a booking.) All groups may bring up to 12 people total to ride our bike. We have removed some seats on our bike to provide social distance between you and our driver, the one outsider that will be on the bike during your ride. (Remember — all rides are private tours with only the people you invite riding with you). We DO NOT mix groups, sell individual tickets, or pair up smaller groups to make one big group. If you rented our bike, you will only ride with the people you invited.
#MASKUPMICHIGAN Masks are required to enter into restaurants and bars on the tour. Furthermore, an Executive Order signed by Michigan’s Governor stipulates that people should wear a mask outdoors when they are not eating or drinking. We realize that a lot of the time on the tour, you will be eating and drinking. However, in respect to your fellow guests and our employees, we ask that you wear a mask when the time presents itself and you are currently not eating or drinking. We all want to do our part.
This year, we are all learning the value of patience and perseverance. While this is our plan on July 13, things are ever-changing with rules and regulations as cases of COVID-19 change and new policies are implemented. Hang in there! We will try to work with you as best we can to create a fun and memorable time on our bike for you. In the month that we have been back in business, we have provided a safe and fun experience to thousands of guests (in small numbers at a time) so far this year in 2020. Is there a chance we can relax and allow 15 people on the bike by the time your date arrives? Yes. Is there a chance we may need to adjust numbers or shut down? Yes. Anything is possible — as we learned this March when our schools, churches, sports, businesses, restaurants, salons and more shut down. We are trying to be as transparent and forthright as possible. As we have seen, we simply cannot predict the future and the best made plans are sometimes forced to adjust or change. We desperately want to give you the experience you are planning for and want. But we must follow rules and stay safe too!
POSTED JUNE 5, 2020
The Michigan Pedaler is ready to start accepting reservations for the Summer of 2020!
After voluntarily closing in mid-March, and following the Stay Home Stay Safe mandate, we look forward to welcoming guests to a safe and fun environment.
The health of our employees and guests are forefront in our concerns. We want you to feel comfortable riding our bikes while celebrating family and friends. We have instituted the following policies and rules as we relaunch in this new environment.
We are excited to welcome you back. The Michigan Pedaler’s mission has been as simple as to bring people together to have fun and celebrate good times — all in the company of great family and friends. We learned through March, April and May what it’s like to miss that human physical contact that all humans long for. It’s exciting to once again be able to celebrate the good times in life with those we love most!
Our entire team of drivers welcomes you back to The Michigan Pedaler to create more special moments. Let’s have some fun this summer! #PursueHappiness
